South Pokot MP David Pkosing has claimed that he will lead the collection of civil disobedience signatures in an attempt to depose President William Ruto.
The legislator, elected on the Kenya Union Party [KUP] platform and a member of Azimio's bipartisan committee panel, stated that he is engaged in grassroots mobilization, network building, and preparations for the signature drive and mega demos.
Speaking to the press in Kapenguria, a former ally of President Ruto stated that Kenyans are unhappy and dissatisfied with the Kenya Kwanza government's promises.
Pkosing, who admitted to voting 'NO' on the contentious Finance Bill, has accused the government of failing to improve security in the Kerio Valley region.

He maintained that the government has made false promises and has failed to reduce regional insecurity.
This is after azimio la Umoja coalition leader Raila Odinga declared that he would mobilize Kenyans to gather signatures to remove the president and his cronies from office.
The Raila-led faction convened for the second time today in response to the president signing the financial bill into law.
People will engage in civil disobedience against the government. "We the people shall launch a mass signature collection to attempt to remove from power leaders, including William Ruto and all leaders who backed the financial bill," Raila said during a consultative meeting in Nairobi, Kenya.
On Saturday, deputy Rigathi Gachagua dismissed the signature talks saying talks do not elect the president.
He made the remarks while attending the funeral of David Muriithi, a grassroots political supporter.
"Even if they do collect those signatures, where are they going to take them?" "People voted, and that was the end of it," Gachagua added.
He added that the government is focused and is not bothered by the noise from the opposition. Deputy Gachagua called Raila a failed project, adding that the Saba Saba protests were also a failed effort.
