President William Ruto's political aides and opposition leader Raila Odinga returned to Kenya's Bomas on Wednesday for joint talks.

The leaders arrived ahead of the discussions, which had halted after both sides had a falling out.

Senate Majority Leader Aaron Cheruiyot and Hassan Omar are among those who have come.

Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka, National Assembly Minority Leader Opiyo Wandayi, and former Murang'a governor Mwangi wa Iria are among the others.

Ex-CS Eugene Wamalwa, former Ndaragwa MP Jeremiah Kioni, and Roots party head George Wajackoyah are among the others.

The negotiations are intended to break the impasse between the administration and the opposition following a wave of protests.
