Kisii Senator claims that if the ongoing talks with the kenya kwanza government do not yield positive results, the opposition will never trust the government again.
According to Senator Onyonka, the negotiations should smooth out the political fight between the administration and the opposition because the conclusion will determine political growth.
"If these talks fail, we will never forgive this administration or the leadership." Let them provide us the bare necessities," he remarked on Citizen TV.
Onyonka stated that a concrete structure should be devised to avoid electoral conflicts in the 2022 presidential election, a matter under discussion in the negotiations.

"Can we look at the structural setup of the servers and find out where is it that mistakes can be made so that in the next elections we don't repeat the same mistakes," Said Onyonka
He advocated that a team be picked and granted unfettered access to the election servers after each election cycle and take an oath of secrecy via a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).
"We can have a legal framework in place where the server can be opened, and we can actually agree on who will have access to that information," he explained.

Even though both chambers of parliament voted to form the bipartisan committee in legislation, the parliamentary commission did not set aside funding to allow the committee to carry out its mission.
