You probably have watched them gracing the screens and giving you UpToDate  news on citizen TV.

Rashid Abdalla and Lulu Hassan have etched their names in history as the first Kenyan couple to co-anchor news, and their professional success has translated into substantial earnings.

In addition to their roles at Citizen TV, the duo is the proud owners of Jiffy Pictures, a production company responsible for beloved shows like Maria, Zora Moyo, and Aziza, among others.

Their lucrative ventures have afforded them the means to provide their children with top-notch education.

On Thursday, September 21, Lulu attended a sports day event at her five-year-old daughter Kiran's school.

In the photos she shared, Lulu was seen with Hassan Mugambi and Chemutai Goin, both of whom have children attending the same school.

Lulu's attire comprised a white top, jeans, a wavy brown wig, and black sneakers.

It was also captured on camera that Lulu expressed her disappointment after her team lost in a tug-of-war match.

According to Tuko,  journalists invest significantly to ensure their children receive education at this esteemed institution.

Given Kiran's age, she is likely attending pre-primary two, where the termly school fee amounts to KSh 80,800.

Parents interested in enrolling their children at the school are required to pay a non-refundable interview fee of KSh 1,650, along with a registration levy of KSh 2,200.

Additional termly expenses comprise a KSh 1,000 contribution to the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) fund, as well as a KSh 550 insurance cover.

On a yearly basis, there is an additional charge of KSh 450 for a school diary and KSh 550 for an identity card.

The termly fees encompass provisions for lunch, breakfast, as well as access to various activities including computer classes and games such as swimming and chess.

Additionally, parents have the option to enroll their children in extra-curricular activities that take place after regular school hours and on weekends. These activities encompass football, basketball, tennis, horse riding, taekwondo, skating, and golf, in which separate fees apply.
