Lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi criticized Professor Makau Mutua for suggesting that opposition leader Raila Odinga is a professor of politics in Kenya and beyond. Abdullahi argued that Mutua is exaggerating by attributing the title of professor to Odinga. Additionally, he speculated that the ODM party leader, Hon Raila Odinga, could potentially secure the chairmanship seat of the African Union.

"Prof, Makau Mutua the national consensus is that Hon Raila deserves his AU job and will Insha Allah get it despite some minnows from Somalia and Djibouti raising the hands.
