Nandi Senator Samson Cherargei has argued that because the Azimio la Umoja coalition does not support President William Ruto's leadership, its members should not form the cabinet.

Senator Cherargei thinks that to keep President Ruto's objectives from being compromised, all Azimio "remnants" in the government should be "cleaned."

On Wednesday, Cherargei said that his suggestion is in practice regarding Cabinet Secretaries and Principal Secretaries.

"There are still a lot of Azimio One Kenya Alliance relics in this government, and they must dismiss them from their senior posts. There isn't a choice, "He stated, speaking on Spice FM.

The Nandi Senator added that having public employees who serve a president they disagree with is pointless. Their positions should have people who share the President's "vision".

They supported the other candidate during the campaign, but Cherargei remarked, "How can you serve under me when you did not believe in my vision? These people used to disrespect the President while he was the deputy.

"Because of this, you will occasionally witness sabotage and, to be completely honest, I think you will attract supporters of your goals. Let the system's remaining traces of Azimio be removed so that the President can deliver his speech on a firm foundation of trust with no room for doubt."

Cherargei predicted that Kenya Kwanza members would suffer the same fate if the other shoe dropped and President Ruto lost the election.

"Even if Azimio had won, he would also be cleaning up the system to obtain the leftovers of those who were allegedly or widely believed to be friends of William Ruto," he claimed.

Let the President appoint those who share his beliefs, and support him throughout his campaign. His allies are committed to advancing his agenda.

Cherargei's views are similar to those of Kipchumba Murkomen, the chief secretary for roads, transport, and public works, who stated that he would not meet with President Ruto's opponents.

On Monday, CS Murkomen stated that his office would only accept people who support the President and that he was aware of the opposition leader's warning his troops not to warm up to the administration.

After likening the Kenya Kwanza government to a firm limited by shares, Vice President Rigathi Gachagua joined the "sidelining government opposer's trail."

DP Gachagua stated in a speech on Sunday that those who supported the Kenya Kwanza government are entitled to appointments and contracts.
