A controversial lawyer and self-proclaimed revolutionist, miguna miguna, has accused Raila Odinga of abandoning the suspended 4 IEBC commissioners, famously known as the cherera four.

This move comes after the four were missing from the just concluded rally at kamukunji, where IEBC reforms took centre stage. in a tweet, miguna expressed his concerns.

Earlier today Francis wanderi another commissioner, resigned, citing false allegations. his statement reads, "As I tender my resignation today, I do so not because I am guilty of the allegations levelled against me by the petitioners, but because there comes a time when the country is more important than any individual, including my aspirations as a Kenyan to see our democratic process mirror those of advanced democracies.'' Mr Wanderi said.

Raila Odinga has been a fierce supporter of the IEBC commissioners who opposed rutos presidential win, citing opaqueness in the results.

Earlier this week, President William ruto suspended the four commissioners after analyzing a report he received. one commissioner remains. Irene masit has vowed not to resign.

Gladys sholei, the deputy speaker of the national assembly, has criticized the move by the commissioners to resign, saying that doing that will not stop the tribunal from investigating them. Other government officials have also expressed their views, saying the probe into their actions will continue.
