A lady whose husband was found guilty of attempting to murder her wants the accused to be sentenced to life in prison.

Margret Jelagat, through her counsel, told the Eldoret Court on Monday that the event caused her major health difficulties after the accused sliced her head and wrists with a panga.

The victim was stated in court that he was disabled and had not yet healed from his injuries.

After the accused submits, Eldoret Senior Magistrate Peter Areri will likely pronounce his decision on the case on Tuesday.
