Stationery Manufacturer Epson appointed Boris Manev as the new Director of Corporate Sustainability.
Manev joined Epson in 2011 as an environmental specialist before being promoted to Head of Sustainability and Government Affairs for Epson Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Russia (EMEAR).
The new director intends to scale up the organization’s sustainability and de-carbonization program to achieve carbon neutrality.
“We have a wonderful, dedicated, passionate and highly qualified sustainability team at Epson and I look forward to harnessing our combined skills as we work together to deliver more sustainable technology that improves the quality of lives in the communities and societies we serve across Europe,” Manev said.
“I am especially keen to demonstrate how profit and sustainability can be mutually inclusive and short-term economics can be aligned to support longer term sustainability goals through integration of sustainability in corporate business models and programmes.”
