On April 2, friends and mourning family members of the late Kabete DCIO Inspector Kelian Ole Kintosi laid him to rest in a solemn ceremony at his residence in Kajiado.
After being involved in a non-injury accident, Felix Kintosi engaged in a physical altercation with DJ Joe Mfalme, who was accompanied by his bouncer, driver, and photographer. Subsequently, Felix was purportedly assaulted and sustained injuries. He was taken to Nairobi West Hospital and later transferred to Langata Hospital, where he tragically passed away on March 21, 2024.

Allegations have been leveled against prominent Nairobi DJ Joe Mfalme, along with his driver, bouncer, and photographer, for assaulting the deceased DCI officer, who succumbed to his injuries during medical care. A video capturing the arrest of DJ Mfalme in connection with the police officer's demise circulated widely on the internet.

Those who were acquainted with the officer asserted that he was a peace-loving individual who, even in various circumstances, refrained from flaunting his authority or using his position to intimidate others.
When Felix Kintosi's body was brought home for burial, his casket was placed beneath a tent, adorned with his crown hat and cross. Relatives of the deceased officer appeared solemn as they prepared to lay him to rest. Shiny shoes belonging to Officer Kintosi were positioned atop his casket in preparation for his burial at home. Fatigued colleagues solemnly conveyed Officer Kintosi's body to the grave.
