A manhunt has been launched to locate 45-year-old Jackson Bamboo, who is accused of murdering his wife, a dancer, Sheila Odoyo.
The 38-year-old's dead body was discovered in a pool of blood on her matrimonial bed at Hill View Estate, with severe cuts to her throat.
There were signs of a scuffle in the bedroom, but neither her children nor her neighbors heard anything.

"Mimi ndio immediate neighbour lakini sikuskia kitu..saa saba ndio tuliskia nduru kutoka kwa watoto," said a neighbour, Richard Chesebeh.
The deceased's 18-year-old daughter informed authorities that she learned of her mother's death at 1 p.m. on Wednesday while preparing to serve her lunch.
Bamboo, the suspect, had quietly departed at 1 a.m. on Wednesday.
"Mambo yote ilianza kujulikana mchana ndiposa tukashikana tukawasilisha ripoti kwa polisi," Chesebeh remarked.
The suspect's Mitsubishi Outlander vehicle was abandoned in the Kencom area in Nairobi's central business district.
Police believe the culprit may have swapped automobiles before escaping. His final signal was tracked back to Narok.
Police are still investigating to determine the motive of the murder.

Following the murder, her followers flocked to social media to mourn the dead, who was described as vibrant and a devotee of the Ohangla dance.
The victim and the suspect were owners of an entertainment establishment in Nairobi's Umoja neighborhood.
The deceased's remains was carried to Shalom Community Hospital mortuary before being transferred by relatives on Friday to Chiromo mortuary for autopsy.
