Vincent Mboya, a Kenyan YouTuber and Content Creator, has been detained. Mboya told his supporters on social media that he was heading to court.

Vincent Mboya revealed that he was accused of rape and assault, which he claims is false.

The content creator also stated that if he is released on monetary bail, he will appeal to his fans for assistance.

"Hi guys I was arrested and am heading to court am accused of rape and assault which isn't true. Just pray for me guys. Incase I will be issued a cash bail or bond I will ask for your support."

Vincent Mboya rose to prominence as a rising artist after seeking media celebrity Jalang'o for assistance in paying his rent in 2021.

Mboya later requested that the broadcaster contact him for the Ksh18,000 return after the now Lang'ata MP urged him to cease exploiting his name to gain influence.

He subsequently began uploading videos to his YouTube channel, which has over 207K subscribers.
