Lawyer Danstan Omari is demanding a fee of Ksh.17.4 million in expenses for representing Gender Culture, Arts, and Heritage Cabinet Secretary Aisha Jumwa in a corruption case.
Musyoki and Mogaka Company lawyers are asking Ksh.10 million in fees to cover instructions to represent Jumwa in the corruption case in an advocate client bill of costs court papers filed at the Mombasa Law Court.
An extra Ksh.1.4 million is set aside for drafting and filing submissions, notices of motion, and receiving and reviewing a letter from the DPP, while Ksh.3 million is set aside for attending court for hearings and mentions.

Other expenses will include printing, binding, and phone services. Jumwa and seven others were accused of conspiracy to commit corruption, conflict of interest, money laundering, and acquiring proceeds of crime.
