The Inua Jamii program beneficiaries have received Ksh. 2,095,360,000 from the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection, while the Nutrition Improvement through Cash and Health Education (NICHE) program beneficiaries have received Ksh. 6,118,000. According to the ministry, payment will start on Monday, December 4, and the funds will be released on Friday, December 1.

1,044,621 Inua Jamii beneficiaries will have their accounts credited with the funds, and each will receive Ksh—2000 for November.

President Uhuru Kenyatta introduced the Inua Jamii program in 2015 as one of his administration's initiatives to combat poverty and assist the socially disadvantaged.

Since then, the Kenya Kwanza government has embraced the program, and in July 2023, a presidential order made it possible for recipients to get monthly payments.
