“The Kiernan Forbes Foundation and Bravado, the world’s leading Music Merchandise company, are proud to announce a special collaboration to honor the late and legendary Kiernan Forbes (AKA).

“The collaboration also provides an opportunity for emerging South African artists to showcase their talent and brings an unparalleled experience for AKA’s fans to enjoy.

As a part of the forthcoming celebrations for Kiernan's birthday, a pop-up art and merchandise exhibition is scheduled to take place at Sook Mall of Africa from the 26th to the 28th of January. The event will showcase exclusive artwork and merchandise designed as a tribute to the Supa Mega.

“This limited-time showcase offers a unique opportunity for the public to acquire one-of-a-kind pieces,” reads the post.

Recently, AKA's mother Lynn Forbes visited his gravesite to plant some fresh flowers around his resting place, ahead of her trip overseas.

Being the woman who gave birth to Kiernan, Lynn has always been honest about her journey of healing from the pain, and while things seem extremely tough, she’s been the glue that holds their family as well as the Megacy (AKA’s fan base together.)

In a recent Instagram story, she compared “grief” to an earthquake.

“Grief is like an earthquake. The first one hits you and your world falls apart. Even after you put the world together again, there are aftershocks, and you never really know when those will come,” she wrote.
