Citizen TV and its journalists have long been in conflict with Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, criticizing his consistent attacks on the media. They have been vocal advocates for tempering his rhetoric and even suggested he be denied opportunities to speak at public functions. However, there has been a notable shift in stance. Led by seasoned journalist Linus Kaikai, Citizen TV is now showering praise on Rigathi, asserting that he should be the sole individual granted a platform to address the public.

In a news segment dubbed "Give Rigathi the Microphone" done by Linus Kaikai, he praised him, for his recent move of coming out boldly to call out those with fake certificates.

Linus Kaikai affirmed that Rigathi was accurate in his remarks, noting that individuals with fake certificates were indeed present at the meeting where Rigathi spoke the truth. Kaikai emphasized the discomfort felt by those being singled out by Rigathi's pointed remarks. He suggested that in future instances where truth needs to be spoken, the microphone should be handed directly to Rigathi with its volume raised, as the truth would undoubtedly resonate.

Linus Kaikai has now publicly aligned himself with Rigathi Gachagua, acknowledging him as a man of integrity. Previously critical of Rigathi's statements, particularly those targeting the media, Kaikai has had a change of heart. He fully supports Rigathi's recent assertions.

In what appears to be a veiled message, Kaikai suggested that the microphone should be returned to Gachagua to allow him to fulfill his promise of exposing individuals with fake certificates, as he had hinted at during the Bomas event.

This follows Rigathi's bold statement at Bomas, where he directly addressed the president, highlighting a significant issue of fake certificates within the government. He asserted that some individuals with such credentials were seated in close proximity to the president.
