Police are investigating the murder of a man whose body was discovered near the gate of Safari Park Hotel in Nairobi.
The victim, identified as 35-year-old Isaac Mwangi Kagure, was found with multiple stab wounds. His body has been moved to the mortuary as investigations and an autopsy are conducted, authorities confirmed regarding the incident, which occurred on Wednesday.
Police have classified the case as a murder and are working to establish the motive. No arrests have been made so far.
In Dadaab’s Banane Kokar Trading Centre, a man was fatally stabbed during a dispute over a love triangle.
According to police, the incident followed a quarrel between two men, 27-year-old Abdi Mohamed Abdullahi and Ali Billow Khalif.

The altercation escalated, with both men stabbing each other with knives. Abdi Mohamed Abdullahi succumbed to his injuries, while Ali Billow Khalif sustained serious injuries and was rushed to Dadaab Hospital for treatment.
The two men were reported to have had a longstanding grudge linked to a love triangle. Abdi Mohamed Abdullahi’s body was taken to Dadaab Hospital, where it awaits a postmortem, while Ali Billow Khalif, the suspect, was admitted to the same hospital for treatment.
In a separate incident, a former student of Kitale National Polytechnic was killed following an altercation outside the institution.
Police reported that 24-year-old Felix Otieno had contacted a colleague at the polytechnic, informing him that he had been assaulted during the altercation. Other students rushed to the polytechnic gate, where they found Otieno at a nearby kiosk with visible injuries to his legs and arms.
He was rushed to Kijana Wamalwa Teaching and Referral Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. The body was later transferred to the mortuary, pending an autopsy and investigations.
In a separate incident in Kiminini, Trans Nzoia, a woman’s body was discovered along the roadside in the Gatua area on the Kitale-Eldoret highway. Police suspect that the woman was killed elsewhere and her body dumped at the location.The motive behind the murder remains unknown.
The victim, identified as Purity Chepkoech, was found with a deep cut on her head and left leg, as well as bruises on her back, according to police.
Her body has been transferred to the mortuary, pending an autopsy and further investigations.
Police confirmed that no arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
