A spokesperson for Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, said on Sunday that the couple had received an invitation to his father, King Charles' coronation but will not yet confirm whether or not they'll attend.
The couple's interesting revelations about the King, Prince William, and other royals in his recent memoir, a Netflix documentary, and a series of TV interviews overshadow preparations for the May event. Many people speculated that because of the previous events, the famous couple would not be invited to the event, while their supporters did not want them to attend, saying that it was a trap.
"I can confirm The Duke has recently received email correspondence from His Majesty's office regarding the coronation," a spokesperson for Harry said.
"An immediate decision on whether The Duke and Duchess will attend will not be disclosed by us at this time."

The news of their innovation comes barely a week after the couple were asked to vacate their Frogmore cottage to allegedly make room for prince Andrew to move into the residence. The announcement came in response to a report in The Sun that said Prince Andrew, one of King Charles III's brothers, had been offered the residence after the two were reportedly evicted from the Crown Estate-owned residence.
Even though they now live in the United States, Prince Harry and Meghan continued to use the early nineteenth-century house as their home in the United Kingdom.
The cottage is tucked away in the corner of the Windsor estate, west of London, and was given to the Sussex family by the late Queen Elizabeth II.
Harry and Meghan Markle refurbished the house and moved there before having their son Archie in May 2019. It is still unclear if the couple will be refunded the money they paid back for the cottage renovations after stepping down from royal duties.
