The members of Parliament from the Azimio la Umoja Party who had set up camp outside President William Ruto's office at Harambee House have been dispersed by police personnel.

Stewart Madzayo (Kilifi Senator), Enoch Wambua (Kitui Senator), Robert Mbui (Kathiani MP), Rosa Buyu (Kisumu Woman Rep), Edwin Sifuna (Nairobi Senator), TJ Kajwang (Ruaraka MP), and others were among those in the delegation.

With letters in hand, the legislators marched to Ruto's office.

Senator Sifuna told security guards at Harambee House's gate that they would march to other government buildings today to deliver their petitions.

"All we want is to get this letter to the right person." Tell them to get it.

Police used tear gas to disperse the politicians.

The march occurred on the day Azimio leader Raila Odinga called for anti-government rallies.
