The Head of the Public Service Commission (PSC), Felix Koskei, has called upon police officers not to take bribes from illicit brewers and also to stop tax hemorrhages at border points.

“Alcohol, food and other products have been entering the country without paying for the required taxes and approval by the Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS) an issue that is endangering the lives of Kenyans,” he said.

Further, he has rugged the police to make borders and roadblocks corruption-free to create a conducive investment environment.

“On behalf of the President, I am here to seek and secure your commitment on war against graft,” the Head of PSC stated.

“The president wants a Police Service that will contribute to the government to be efficient, effective and responsive to the needs of Kenyans together with those visiting Kenya.”
