Speaking on Thursday in Machakos, Raila urged the ODM MPs who had abandoned Azimio and all other Parties to resign and formally seek a mandate from the people.

According to him, such politicians were chosen to lead parties at the time under Azimio and shouldn't have quit or joined the government without the electorate's consent.

Raila addressed the nine ODM MPs who visited Ruto at the State House, accusing them of being there for personal purposes rather than learning about recent events. He claimed that the MPs were required to keep him aware of any changes and that the Parliament, not the State House, provides funds.

The Azimio leader said the members who have defected from the Azimio coalition need to resign and go. He added that the days when MPs used to go and see "mtukufu," Nyayo are over.

He pointed out that members of Azimio who want to go to the statehouse for developments should borrow permission; otherwise, they will be labelled as traitors.

Mr. Odinga noted that no one should compete against one coalition and later decamp to join it. He referred to it as Political Prostitution.

He urged all Kenyans to condemn political prostitution. Raila explained why he initially allowed ODM leaders to welcome Ruto when he visited Nyanza, saying he had not yet received the Whistleblower's report.

Odinga added that the structure in place using the KIEMS KIT is that the Whistleblower has all the details because all the information transmitted electronically is in the KIEMs kit. He insisted that he did not recognize Ruto as president.
